Littlies

**Author's Notes: I don't own Uglies. This one is written as if it was INTENDED for small children and it's a little rhyme-y on purpose. Keep that in mind.**

Chapter 1: Playground

When Tally was just a littlie, things were much different...

It was after littlie school on a Friday and Tally was going to play with Peris.

They always had fun together whether they were jumping rope, going to a fair, or swimming in the pool.

Tally wondered what they would do today.

She got on her bike and went off to the playground.

She loved going to the playground.

Tally also loved playing with Peris so this was even more fun.

When she arrived at the playground, she saw Peris.

"Peris," Tally said. "Why are you so sad?"

"My day has been a bit bad," Peris said.

"What happened?" Tally asked. "You can tell me."

"Well," Peris said. "You see..."

**Chapter 2: Peris' Story**

"It was recess you see," Peris said. "Then some kids were being mean to me."

"Did you tell Ms. NewTurk?" Tally asked.

"I tried," Peris said and then cried.

"What happened then?" asked Tally.

"They beat me to her," he said through his tears.

"Aw," Tally said. "What did they do?"

She started to cry too.

"They took my money," said Peris. "Then, suddenly, grabbed my underpants and put them over my head."

"How sad," Tally said.

She tried thinking of ways to cheer him up but then got stuck.

Chapter 3: Cheering Up Peris

Peris was still sad.

Tally wished she could make him glad.

She tried making a sand castle, she also tried coloring, but it did nothing but make him feel even worse.

If only there was one way she knew...

... That could cheer Peris up.

Then, an idea struck.

A lightbulb came up in her mind and she sighed.

"Well," Tally said. "I guess I'll go."

Then Peris said, "Wait, no!"

"What is it Peris?" Tally asked. "Why shouldn't I? All of this is just making me cry."

"Please stay," said Peris. "I would like to say."

"What is it you want to say?" asked Tally. "I promised my friends we'd go to the pool today."

"The pool?" Peris asked with excitement. "Can I come too?"

"Sure," said Tally.

They went to the pool, played tons of games, and had a lot of fun.

Peris had a good day afterall, even after being pinned to a wall.

	4. Chapter 4: At The Pool

Littlies Chapter 4: At The Pool

Author's Notes: I don't own Uglies. This chapter especially is written for very little children.

Peris and Tally were at the pool.

So were Tally's friends.

They swam and swam.

They went off the big diving board.

They played with each other for hours.

"So," said Tally. "Are you enjoying this Peris?"

"Yes, Tally," said Peris. "I'm glad you let me come."

"Are you feeling better?" Tally asked him.

"Yes," said Peris. "And next time those boys try and bully me I'll be sure not to let them."

"So you'll tell the teacher?" Tally asked.

"Of course, but I'll also make sure I'm wearing a hidden camera."

"See? I knew you could do it," said Tally. "Now, let's go and play with the noodles."

"Okay," said Peris.

They got up and went to get the noodles.

They took them back into the water.

They played with the noodles.

Then they went into the deep end.

They were really brave and made it through.

Tally and Peris then went to play with Tally's friends.

They had lots of fun.

Then they went to Tally's house.

"I hope we do that again," said Peris.

"Me too," said Tally.

Then, Peris went back to his house.

"Did you two have fun?" Tally's mom asked.

"Yes we did," said Tally.

She hugged her mom.
